Our Team

Dr. Bahareh Esmaeili (Mirshahi) was born and raised in Iran. Growing up in a country where few can afford adequate dental care, she was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry. At this point in her life, she has traveled half the globe and learned a new language and culture to make her dream of becoming a dentist and alleviating needless pain come true. Her passions grew to not only provide great dentistry, but to also educate her patients about their oral health as well. In 2000 She moved to the United States to realize her calling.

In 2004 she graduated with honors from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Bachelor in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. During her junior and senior years in college she volunteered as a dental assistant at the DHCA Midtown office. That internal experience was markedly positive, solidifying her professional commitment to dentistry. Four years later she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

During Dr. Esameili’s tenure at the University of Colorado she became an advocate for oral cancer research. Ultimately this led to significant publication of head and neck cancer research and penning two abstracts. Her three-year research venture earned her several scholarships and recognition through the Student Research Group and she was elected to present her research at national level.

The connection between overall wellness and oral health is very important to Dr. Esmaeili. She strives to make dentistry less intimidating and more empowering through encouraging an active role in each guest’s oral health education. She is extremely warm-hearted, genuine and looks forward to providing you with excellent care.p>
